WHO
This service is designed for businesses who need support to develop their Health and Safety Management System and perform at a ‘best practice’, ‘safety differently’ level. It is expected that the business will have a Health and Safety Management System in place although this is not essential.
HOW
One on one coaching or small team training sessions, to be decided with the business owner.
OUTCOMES
Guidance and coaching will provide the business with the ability and resources to effectively:
- Undertake a review to determine the status of existing HSEMS using basic gap analysis and auditing tools;
- Define current compliance against applicable legislation;
- Apply risk assessment to the workplace with whole team involvement and develop or update a company specific risk register;
- Develop a plan for HSEMS improvement and set robust goals for achievement;
- Manage stakeholder consultation and worker engagement, establishing and consolidating methods of communication for management plans, controls, effectiveness reviews and application of lessons to ensure active participation in the consultation process from all those within and engaged within the business;
- Establish an audit plan to ensure periodic system review to maintain continual improvement;
- Manage the health and wellbeing of staff including ongoing pandemic awareness;
- Build a Business Continuity Plan to manage the impacts of COVID-19 now and prepare the business to be future fit.
INVESTMENT
Charge at an hourly rate of $250 + GST per hour, time requirement to be determined on a by-needs-basis with the business owner
