Julie Paice

Safeworks Owner, Director & Principal HSE Consultant

Julie is a passionate and highly competent health and safety consultant with a strong work ethic and sense of corporate, personal and professional integrity.

Ongoing professional development led to the formation of Safeworks Solutions Limited in 2005 with the mission to deliver effective & innovative Health, Safety & Environmental services. Fifteen years of providing robust and credible services to a range of clients over a variety of projects has sustained her passion for health and safety.

Experience has provided Julie with the ability to function within an executive environment and within project and operations level while never losing sight of issues at the ‘coal face’. This gives her a unique advantage for working strategically and diplomatically with a wide range of clients, authorities, and personnel. She has a proven record of working in highly pressurised situations and demanding environments applying a mix of corporate methodology, best practice, empathy, and bespoke methods in training, leading, mentoring and managing large multi-cultural workforces.

Julie attended the Victorian Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (VIOSH), University of Ballarat (now Federation University) completing the Certificate of Occupational Health and Safety and the Graduate Diploma of Occupational Hazard Management. In 2016 she gained a Master’s Degree of Emergency Management from Charles Sturt University through distance study.

Julie has travelled extensively. Work commitments taking her to China, Egypt, the Netherlands, Qatar, UAE, Russia, and Kazakhstan. These journeys have provided Julie with exciting opportunities to broaden her understanding of the world and the diversity of cultures.
